- Some consumers have reported that the thermal carafe dribbles when pouring, especially when filling the water reservoir. One preventive measure mentioned is to try washing the carafe with dishwashing liquid such as Dawn, to remove excess oil build-up on the carafe that could lead to spillage.
- Because of the speed of this drip coffee maker, you must have the thermal carafe in place before you shut the lid. If you delay doing this, expect a mess as scalding hot coffee sprays all over your counter top!
