Iced Coffee Recipes - how to make ice coffee

As with any iced coffee recipe be adventurous and try your own ideas.

Crush the cinnamon in a pestle and mortar to release the small black seeds.Spoon the ice cream onto the coffee and scatter with the seeds.Drink or spoon the coffee through the melting ice cream.

Iced Mocha1/2 gal. chocolate ice cream, softened8 cups coffee, chilled1 pint half-and-half1 tsp. almond extract1/8 tsp. salt1 square semi-sweet chocolate, grated1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

With mixer at low speed, beat ice cream and 3 cups coffee until smooth. In chilled 5-6 qt. punch bowl, stir icecream mixture, half-and-half, almond extract, salt, and 5 cups of coffee until blended. Sprinkle with grated chocolate and cinnamon. Makes 16 8 oz. servings.

ICED CHOCOLATE COFFEE - excellent for mothers-to-be2 oz unsweetened chocolate8 fl oz double-strength coffee12 fl oz cola beverage¼ cup sugar20 fl oz milkWhipped cream or ice creamMelt chocolate in double boiler. Stir in sugar.Gradually stir in hot coffee, mixing thoroughly.

Add milk and continue cooking until all particlesof chocolate are dissolved and mixture issmooth - about 10 minutes. Pour into jar, coverand chill.

When ready to serve, stir in chilledcola beverage. Serve over ice cubes in tallglasses. Top with either whipped or ice-cream.

1/2 coffee cup of water2-3 level tbsp freshly ground coffee1 1/2 coffee cups of skimmed milkchocolate powder, to garnish

MethodPour the water into the base of the stove-top espresso maker.Then pack the freshly ground coffee into the filter.Screw on the top and place on the hob over a medium heat.While the espresso is brewing, heat the milk to just below boiling point.Skimmed milk is the best to use as it holds its froth for longer because of the lower fat content.Once the milk is hot, froth the milk. Place the milk in a large cafetière and pump the plunger 10-15 times until you have plenty of froth - approximately half froth and half milk.Pour the espresso into warm cups, then, using a large spoon to hold back the froth, pour the milk into the cups.Top with the froth, leaving a visible brown rim around the edge for an authentic look. Sprinkle with the chocolate.The best cappuccino should be one third espresso, one third milk and one third froth.

Cappuccino Coffee Recipe 2

2 shots espresso

1 oz amaretto syrup

1 oz chocolate fudge syrup

1/2 oz of Almond syrup

steamed milk

chocolate whipped cream for garnish

Get a 12 ounce cup. Combine syrups and espresso.

Get a large mug and fill with steamed milk, top with foam and chocolate whipped cream.

Cappuccino Coffee Recipe 3

2 quarts brewed coffee4 cups evaporated skimmed milk1/2 cup packed brown sugar1 tablespoon vanilla extract1 teaspoon Almond extract

In a large saucepan, combine coffee, milk and sugar. Cook on medium high heat, stirring occasionally until mixture begins to boil.

Remove from heat and add extracts. Serve hot.
